I think that names of the suits should not be changed. This one above translates to "A King from Hearts" which is wrong. Therefore all the Polish suits should be "Kier (Hearts), Karo (Diamonds), Trefl (Clubs) and Pik (Spades)". So the card above would be "Król Kier".

Speaking of, the Unlock everything button should be changed to "Odblokuj wszystko" (not -stkie).

That "Dalej" word perhaps should be changed to "Kontynuuj"

Polish translation is soooo odd. So many things feel like they were translated without context, as if it were an automated GPT-based translation rather than a human effort. To me, it's unplayable. I play in English.

Notable examples:

• **Joker **translated as "Pajac." Nobody calls Jokers "Pajac".
• Blind translated as "Przeszkadzajka" feels really odd. "Stawka" would sound so much better.
• Celestial boosters translated as "niebiański" doesn't reflect the meaning at all. In Polish, "niebiański" has only religious connotations and feels similar to "heavenly" in English. I would translate it to "gwiezdny" or "astralny."
• Discard translated as "zrzutka" feels a bit off. I don’t think anybody would use such a term in real life. I’m not sure how to translate it well as a single word, but maybe "odrzucenie"?

But these are just oddities. The real problem is when things are translated in such a way that they lose meaning. For example, seals have descriptions such as: "Aktywuj ponownie wszystkie zagrane karty" instead of "Aktywuje ponownie wszystkie zagrane karty," which roughly translates to: "[you] retrigger all cards again." vs "Retriggers all cards again."

Even if it's not perfect, it's already night and day compared to the official Polish translation available in the game.

how about changing Flush house and flush five to Ful w kolorze i piątka w kolorze, sounds more intuitive and less mouthfull than jednobarwny

and the flavor text pasujemy jak tani garnitur doesn't have as much sense as in english, i would completely change that, to for example well known "idioto, przecież gramy w pokera" to have one really polish reference

I'm currently redoing a translation for a mod in Polish and I found a lot of inconsistencies and stuff that could be translated better

I've sent some of them through the google form, but there's a whole list of these I could do (I'm like 5% into the translation and I already found around 20 things that oculd be translated in a better / shorter way)

^ To the point I could do a whole revision of the Polish language in the base game and redo it myself

I am not sure if I should write about steam translation here but I think there are 2 mistakes

1. The description about scoring points in one hand always says 10 000 instead of corresponding to their title

2. Dostajesz to co dostajesz (You get what you get) description says that player should have 80 cards in their deck instead of saying that player should win run without rerolling in the shop
