Coupon, Obrital , Double Tag, Economy, Negative are my main draws when i will skip. highly likely if i see these i will skip

Spectral, Rare, Speed, Investment, Voucher. are taken sometimes

the rest i dont usually take but i can see their use!

I usually only take most when I have double tags, like the money, packs, or edition tags. But stuff like the free shop tag I’ll usually always take.

I almost always take a couple per run. Some are very run dependent like lv up a certain hand 3 times, others are useful in almost every run. I really like the added decision space it takes. Fight or skip.

I almost always take a spectral pack skip. I just love these packs.

because i anaglyph main, im picking šŸ‡Ø

#

i skip quite a lot

Idk depends on if I like the tag or not. I like sale tag early (ante 1), almost always an auto pick for me
arcana packs skip on anaglyph is goofy so I like that too
I don't think I considered money skips outside anaglyph deck with this demo (maybe a few times only)
also I don't think I picked up a single edition tag without anaglyph deck. having more of edition tags just ensures that they will drop on the joker you actually want, lol

#

that's why I voted F, I would almost always skip at least once on anaglyph deck, but almost never on magic

austere mountain
#

if it rewards money and it's higher than the potential I get playing that blind, i skip. almost always skip for spectral cards, and buffoon if I have empty slot. always take orbital if it matches my current build

#

discards I never take, hands tag I usually don't take

#

oh, always take coupon too. insane value. two free packs and two cards!

Maybe im an outlier, but i only skip when going for a specific fun build and am searching for a specific thing. I cant say I play perfectly, or even well, but losing the shop and the money, and maybe even bonuses from playing hands (like superposition, or those pants) does not seem worth it if you are just going for a win, most times. Would be more likely to use if it made the blind harder instead (3x required score, +1 boss modifier smth like that) but well its not akipping the blind anymore lol

I will say I’ve been skipping on average a lot more than last demo. Those 1 in 4 for x joker drove me insane

tidal trail
#

This is a very hard one for me to say, I main anaglyph and tbh the only tags I'll take are extra double tags or ante 5 tags

#

But like I won't skip over free negatives if I have moner

tight ruin
#

Depends on Throwback too. If I have early throwback, I'm more likely to skip a lot

#

i just forget about the existence of tags for 90% of the time, and even then I almost, almost never use them

The results are going to be skewed by the presence of Anaglyph. When I’m on non-Analglpyh I’m usually never skipping. Only time I’ll skip is if there is a both a strong tag and the opportunity cost of skipping outweighs playing the round. Without a double tag, this is rare for me.

On Anaglyph, I’m probably averaging one skip a run. There are a few times where the tags just line up and I’m already outscaling the blinds, so I’ll skip maybe 3-4 times. However I’ve found that the opposite end is more common, where I just don’t skip at all.

On blue deck, maybe 1 skip on average. Glyph, like 4-5. In the past with abandoned it was usually 0.

I am finding myself skipping gradually more than last demo.

i never take Foil skip

grand lion
#

I never take foil or discard skip

lucid pilot
#

discard skip has its uses in full game (water) but minimal uses in this demo, (banner)

tight ruin
#

Just for the collection

#

But that was for Throwback not the actual discards

grand lion
#

oh yeah I guess I hit restart a bunch and took those skips just for when I was building my collection last demo

I might skip for an early everything in the shop except the voucher is free or a spectral pack, or if I’m already doing exceptionally well and have everything I need to win, but otherwise not really. The income and interest is usually too important. And with something like vagabond, you’d also be giving up like, 4 tarot cards

#

Oh, and trading card. You’d lose some deck fixing and money there too

#

This might sound surprising but I don’t really desire the ā€œshop contains [edition] jokerā€, too RNG whether it’ll be on a joker that’ll be useful to me or not. Basically early, I’m too poor to afford them when I’m setting up, and late when I could afford them, I’m already set up and they likely won’t help much. Polychromes are usually the best since even if they’re otherwise useless they’ll do something I suppose

grand lion
#

I'll go for negative late, especially if I have coupon to go with it

#

I had one game where I had a couple of dupe tags, negative in the small blind, coupon in the big blind, and I already had the expanded shop voucher. I finished that game with 8/8 jokers.

tawny hatch
#

I normally just skip the first or second blind

swift stag
#

mfw fullskip

sand moat
#

g - never

tight ruin
#

because I can rarely afford expensive jokers or the money ones are just not worth it

tawny hatch
#

I do magic deck which helps get it rolling

#

its way worst than no skip, but idrc yk

regal summit
#

Often I only skip 1 per run, but it's not rare to skip 2 or 3. More than that is pretty rare for me, since I tend to spend money a lot.

young nebula
#

honestly this depends a lot on how im playing

ill take a good tag a lot of the times but if i have throwback i suddenly start skipping twice as often if im pretty well off

stone hemlock
#

do I have flashback? is the tag good?

tight ruin
frozen hazel
#

is there any benefit to skipping besides the tags?

iron estuary
#

i dont think so

#

tags seem to be the only benefit you get from skipping

#

ignoring tags, skipping just makes you skip a round of earnings and interest, an entire shop, and the score threshold is higher

#

i cant think of any other benefit than tags

topaz bloom
#

The tag is the reward for the risk (increasing score requirement without opportunity to improve)

grand lion
# frozen hazel is there any benefit to skipping besides the tags?

yes -- jokers that get weaker over time (popcorn, ramen, odds of losing a banana) have fewer chances to fail. I had a game earlier where I got a polychrome popcorn from a buffoon pack early and I was already playing anaglyph so I was like "skip ALL the things" and I think it was still like +12 when I got to the end
