Challenges from the Sept. Demo that can carry over to this demo:
- Same card in every hand: You can only play poker hands that score at least 1 of a card with a specific suit and rank, for example the 5 of Diamonds. You may choose this card at any time, so long as it is/was played in every hand in the run.
- Fullskip: You must skip every Small and Big blind.
- Boosterless: No Arcana/Celestial/Spectral packs, including from skips.
- Poor Man's Challenge: You must end every shop at $0. Selling will help with weird remaining money amounts.
- Jokerless: You must never own jokers during the run, including owning them during shop phase.
- Highlander: You must never play more than 1 hand of the same kind (e.g. no playing 2 high cards during the run)
- Super Highlander: You must play exactly 1 of each poker hand during the run (either no secret hands or both secret hands)
- Blurry Face: You are only allowed to score Face cards.
- Special Edition Jokers only: You can only take special edition jokers into blinds and bosses. You may have non-special editions in the shop or between blinds. Using Judgment is allowed at any point, so long as non-special editions are sold.
- Chips Only: You may not gain mult from any source, including Planets and Xmult. Chips and lvl 1 base hands are the only ways to scale score.
- Xmult Only: You may not gain chips from any source other than the base chips value of poker hands and playing cards (i.e. 9 giving 9 chips, but no heirophant for bonus chips). You may only gain mult from Xmult sources (Jokers, Glass cards).
- Exactsies: Every blind you face must be beaten with an exact total score, i.e. total of 300 for small blind 1.
- Super Exactsies: Complete Exactsies either without skipping, or with only 1 hand each round.
- High Card Only: Win with only High Card. (Can also replace with poker hand of choice, but each hand will have varying difficulty to achieve.)
- Stone Only: You may only score Stone cards the entire run.
Proposed Challenges:
✅ ABC challenge: During every blind, Jokers must be ordered alphabetically.
✅ Super ABC: Every purchase in your run must be in alphabetical order, carrying across rounds. Name is determined by what the tooltip says the name is for the item. (E.g. buying Green Joker means you can't purchase Buffoon Pack for the rest of the run, but you can buy Jumbo or Mega Buffoon.)
- Score Reversal: Final Mult for each hand played must be higher than the final Chips for that hand.
