Was wondering what everyone thought of the idea of the first few shops requiring at least 1 joker to spawn in them. Maybe only on ante 1? It doesn’t happen very often, but I’ve had a couple runs die immediately because my first few shops were only planet/tarot cards. Without the yellow deck, there’s not much money for re-rolls to get any early jokers, if none are available.

Also, in the same vein, I’m not sure about the idea of the first shop giving jokers over $10, or ones that you can’t afford without the yellow deck. There’s nothing more demoralizing than having to skip a rare joker cause you didn’t have enough money, but skipping the joker cause you aren’t capable of even making enough money for it, feels even worse.

I know nothing about coding but I feel like something like this hopefully isn’t too terribly difficult to implement. I think it will only help ease frustration and cut down on frustrating moments.

I agree, the very first shop having cards that value over 10$ feels really bad, without yellow it's actually impossible to afford
