I got a 38 ress hoto and an arachnid mesh.
Could i trade that in softcore ladder for tal armor, belt, amulet, shako and occulus? would that be a fair trade or couldnt i get all of it?

yes, I've seen tal armor going for as low as Ist in this Discord, belt is no more than 6 pgems, amulet is Ist, Shako is like half an Ist and so is Oculus
38res hoto = Ohm or 5 Ist
Arach - 1.5 Ist
Tal armor, belt, amulet, shako and oculus - 3 Ist
you'd be giving up a lot more on this trade

i sadly dont have much other stuff i can trade with except those 2 items.
so i might try to get a gemmed shako and will try to add chanceguards to maybe equalize it a bit more.
if i can even find someone who can offer all those items.

Just get a cold sunder - do blizz sorc, and budget gear will carry you. Hoto + Spirit Monarch, Tarnhelm if you don't have a shako, a gheeds and you can mf easily enough.
