Developing a Custom Payment Gateway - Require Clarity

Good day all, I'm a developer currently working on a payment gateway plugin for an organization. I was folowing the service plugin guide and almost close to completion. However I'm afraid there may be no way to distribute this service plugin on the marketplace store? and if not where can I find resources on creating a compatible market place plugin centered around developing a custom payments plugin? and If I can how?

I'm a bit new to the ecosystem - any help will be appreciated.
