i have 2 main gripes with this guy, which are easily fixable
-
collision with enemies
while super dashing sometimes you just collide with an enemy, blocking you from using the full potential of the dash, i suggest that the player just goes through enemies while superdashing to emphasize the sweeping piercing motion of the dash through enemies, and eliminate the frustration when you try to dash through a horde and you crash into the first guy in front of it making the dash useless. i also tried purposefuly crashing into one enemy but that didnt work, so im assuming sometimes being able to crash into them is a bug, i dont know if its collision with an enemy, or collision with some weird ground geometry, but it just happens sometimes and it looks like you are colliding with an enemy, its weird. -
make the dash damage a percentage of the weapon in main hand damage rather than a flat number
the thing with flat number stats, is that based on your equipment a source of damage with a flat number can be extremely op or completely useless.
that is the case with the riven gale right now, as 180 damage is a lot to something like the sickles, the snakes, the tachi, or even medium damage swords, but it is nothing to maces like the crusher, the mountain breaker, or the boulder, because 180 is like half of the damage they deal with just one swing, making the dash completely useless when equipping these weapons. i suggest making the damage a percentage of the damage of a weapon, like the kick does, so the dash always deals for example 150% of the damage of our wielded weapon deals, so the dash is always a viable move regardless of what weapon you are wielding.
