Hey there! This channel allows you to ask Kapa.ai for assistance. But it looks like you haven't connected your Discord profile to your Deepgram account yet. You can do so at https://community.deepgram.com - by doing so, you'll be able to ask questions in #1115960287183511643 if you need human assistance!

No, Deepgram’s keywords feature does not boost two words as a pair or phrase. If you provide a phrase like "site staff" as a keyword, Deepgram will treat "site" and "staff" as individual keywords and boost them separately, not as a combined unit. The keywords feature is designed for single words—especially uncommon or out-of-vocabulary terms, proper nouns, or product names. Phrases, acronyms, digits, and special characters are not supported by the keywords feature. For your example, you should choose either "site" or "staff" (or both as separate keywords), but not "site staff" as a single keyword to be boosted as a pair When should I use keyword boosting? Keywords Keywords vs Search.

If you need to boost a phrase as a unit, this is not possible with the keywords feature. For phrase-level boosting, consider using Deepgram’s keyterm prompting, which is available only with the Nova-3 model Keyterm Prompting.
