I had about $188 left, or so; but there was a $200 charge on Mar 27. I wasn't even logged on. Is there something I'm missing about the pricing or promo program?

Hey there! This channel allows you to ask Kapa.ai for assistance. But it looks like you haven't connected your Discord profile to your Deepgram account yet. You can do so at https://community.deepgram.com - by doing so, you'll be able to ask questions in #1115960287183511643 if you need human assistance!

Hi @tulip oyster. I'm kapa.ai, your friendly support bot. I will try to answer your question by searching through the knowledge base.

I understand your concern about the missing promotional credits. Based on the information provided in the knowledge sources, there are a few possibilities for what might have happened:

  1. Credit Expiration: Deepgram promotional credits typically expire after one year from signup. As mentioned in the documentation, "Deepgram free promotional credits expire one year from signup" Managing Projects.

  2. Usage Charges: It's possible that you incurred charges for using Deepgram services. Deepgram bills based on usage, and different services have different pricing models. For example, the Voice Agent API is billed at $4.50 per hour (or $3.90 if you bring your own LLM) Voice Agent Pricing.

  3. Model Improvement Program Opt-Out: If you opted out of the Model Improvement Program, this could affect your pricing. The documentation states: "By opting out of the Model Improvement Program, customers on Pay as you Go, Growth, or Enterprise plans will forego their 50% discount on the rates" Model Improvement Program.

To get more specific information about what happened to your credits, I recommend:

  1. Check your usage logs in the Deepgram Console (Usage → Logs) to see if there were any requests made on March 27th.
  2. Verify when you signed up for Deepgram to check if your promotional credits might have expired.

If you need further assistance, you can contact Deepgram support directly. In a similar case shown in the knowledge sources, a user had their expired credits restored after reaching out Credit Disappeared Discussion.
