I think priority will be:

• Floors/Wallpapers where the rest of the set has customization options that the walls/floors don't
• Removing rugs from floors and standardizing the wood options based on furniture wood customization options

I’m not sure if this is related, but since some cabins are in Rainbow Resort, will it be possible in the future for the interior to have a toggle between being underwater or not? It’s jarring to swim into a cabin and suddenly be walking again. I understand if that’s not feasible though.

As a side note, I would think a good starting point of customizing the wall and flooring overall would be to look at the furniture that is more limited/special patterns with it's customization to make it have matching wall and floor, like how antique furniture has options for a cross pattern, plaid and stripe. Meanwhile the wallpaper and flooring has this pretty teal green that pretty much only matches the cross pattern

Some others have said it based on my skimming but I 10000000% agree with wanting to have window toggles. Like let us choose back/sides or even on/off. Also a few windows are a little uncentered with furniture and it drives me crazy so I'd love having some things nudged over too.

I'm also gonna throw in that all or some of the weather-currency walls/floors having variations to better match any other theme would also go hard and would encourage more people to trade/collect the weather item drops. For example, the Stormy/Cloud Wallpaper having a dawn (orange/pink) and a dusk (greyscale), the Star Pattern Wallpaper having an any-color backdrop toggle and maybe a few color combinations for the stars, or the umbrellas on the Umbrella Wallpaper.

Absolutely the art deco wallpaper, but I personally would love the option to add windows to more of the wallpapers - I don’t like the cabins to feel too claustrophobic, which the blank walls do for me. I feel like I’d love if the wallpapers in general had the same default color variants as their corresponding furniture sets.
Other than that, I personally find the Kawaii wallpaper a little abrasive, and I find the off-white of the Nordic wallpaper to be too gray for my taste.

At the expense of everyone in the Discord coming to my house to shut me up permanently: What do you think of making some of the event wood color options like Purpleheart or Rosewood rewards available for obtaining all of a certain year's event items, like, once unlocked, you can use that color on any wood-customizable items. It'd be like a similar execution to the Gudetama pattern reward.

For me specifically would be:

1. Nordic Wallpaper and Flooring
   • I use the furniture in a lot of cabins but the yellow accents not being able to change with the furniture options is sad 😭

2. Scholastic & Sunshine Floorings
   • I love the pattern of both these floors but would love more wood color variations

3. Cottage & Costal Wallpaper/Flooring
   • Being able to change the rug and curtain colors would be sooo nice

As for wallpaper I honestly just think a basic wallpaper like cottage/coastal/antique would be nice to where we can pick the wood "trim" color, paint color, and curtain color would be perfect. And having a toggle option to either have the windows or not would just be chefs kiss! Kinda in the avatar customization for the ear/no ear toggle.

I'm sure this isn't a big request either but having a option for weather outside the windows would be soooo cool! To be able to pick snow, rain, Starfall etc would be really neat but that's on the lower side of my request. 🫶🏻🫶🏻

(Edit: also this kinda applies to ALL the furniture options but more/better color options. With this I mean either alternative color ways for example orange - the oranges in some of the furniture and wallpapers are brighter or darker than the orange we can customize with. I would personally love and appreciate it so much if all patterns and colorways matched with everything.)

I was literally looking for this before adding, but just like a solid floor you can make any color, and a solid wallpaper or like one with wood beams or whatever but the base color can be changed. The floors would be my #1 though.

I think it would be best if most wallpapers and floors could have a few color variations for matching. For example, the Friendship Festival wallpaper and floor are green and black, but the furniture from that event can be changed to other colors. I really like the other color versions, but I can’t use them well because there aren’t matching wallpapers and floors.

I hope that in the future, when designing wallpapers and floors, the other color versions of the furniture can also be considered.🥺 🙏

The way I see it is that it should be possible to customize the wallpaper and the floor if the furniture set is customizable too. Like why can I change the whole coloring scheme of a set, but not its wallpaper and floor? I don’t mind if you don’t make the ones that already exist customizable, but I would expect all the new ones that will be released to have this option. That would be amazing!!

No, the Kuromi set isn't customizable. Maybe she's referring to the Spooky Lolita set? That has options like that, and the Spooky Celebration strongly linked with Kuromi.

I most want to customize anything that is part of a collection where the furniture is customizable. Like if I make all of my Lolita furniture pastel, I want the coordinating walls and floors to match the vibe. But if you’re looking for a priority suggestion, I’d start with event walls and floors because that exciting change will encourage more player engagement. And perhaps customization of standard walls/floors could be rolled out as a bestie adventure quest for My Sweet Piano and My Melody.
