The current gameplay offers a peaceful and relaxing experience for players who enjoy a more laid-back approach. However, I believe there are also players who seek a greater challenge with additional mechanics and a more demanding environment. Below are some of my old ideas I combined to help create a more challenging experience.
New Mechanics & Features
1. Fragile Packages
• Some packages would arrive with a large red "Fragile" sticker.
• These packages cannot be thrown around or mishandled.
• Penalty: A percentage of the item’s value inside the package if damaged.
2. Inspection Checklist
• Packages may have multiple issues that must be identified.
• Submitting an invalid parcel results in the same penalty as before.
• If only some issues are found and submitted as invalid, the player receives a partial amount based on the issues missed.
3. More Prohibited Items
• This mode introduces additional prohibited items with more variations in shape and appearance.
• Players will need to memorize more items to properly inspect packages.
4. Inspecting for Damage
• Players must inspect packages for damage before deciding whether to reject or return them.
• If the package has insurance, it should be returned to the sender instead of discarded.
5. Incomplete Package Information (follow up on previous idea)
• Some packages will have missing/damaged sticker information that needs to be verified.
• Players must scan the barcode to check the system for the final destination.
• If a destination is found, a new sticker must be printed to replace the old one.
• If the destination is not found, the package must be returned by printing a return inspection sticker. ( part of the valid submission system)
• After scanning barcode , the information will appear on a tablet screen, similar to the invalid announcement system.
Additional Features
Breaks & Food:
• Players must take breaks and eat; otherwise, they might end up in the hospital for a day and have to pay a medical bill.
Loan Payments:
• Players may have outstanding loans that require daily or weekly payments.
Daily or Weekly Quotas:
• Players must meet specific work quotas to avoid penalties.
Fixing Conveyor Belts:
• Conveyor belts can malfunction, requiring players to repair them while managing package flow.
Tampering Detection:
• Some packages may show signs of tampering (resealed tape, damaged corners).
