I feel like I've tried everything to get this voice chat mod to work, I've port forwarded, unblocked that port on the firewall, same as Minecraft's 25565 port but for 24454 but still nothing connects and I can't figure out why.

You mention self hosting, same computer or different computer as the client?

If you are on the same computer try connecting to localhost as your address and see if you can log in. If you are using a different computer try logging in with your private IP.

It's a different computer, an ubuntu server using docker

private ip is a good idea I'll try it

what should the bind address and voice host be in the server voice chat config

right now it's the * and the voice host is blank

no luck with the private ip

You should be able to leave it stock and it should work. Are you sure the firewall on your server is allowing connections?

I’m assuming you are able to log into the server but voice is not working?
