just got a server for bcg/nc through bisect hosting and as soon as I click start it the consel panel throws this up

any ideas what its asking?
the server is set up to have 12GB of RAM

check to see what jar its launching in the settings. it may be looking for custom.jar or something else.

CF_BCGPP_2.10.1.jar was the only jar I found in the files panel is that what is causing it?

that looks like its for bcg with cobblemon. youll need to get bcg nc jar

just checked the control panel its still starting up? but it hasnt done anything for a bit

dont know if it would help any but I loaded up the mod real quick to see if I could join the pub server and It loaded up no problem

Would that be the version bcgnc uses I try not to change anything curseforge sets for the launcher except the ram allocation

Bcgnc uses 1.20.1. If that crash log is actually from your server then it is not installed properly. It also appears to be from a forge server.

That must be the wrong one then I can see in the console it's trying to start a server in 1.20.1

You can post the crash log but I find the latest.log in your server logs folder has more info.

Mods folder in your server. You can just rename the file with .disable at the end

You can leave the .jar but you are doing the same thing. Preventing the mod from loading.

Make sure the port bisect gave you is the same as the server-port in the server-properties file.
The server currently is trying to open the default port and is crashing because it can’t.

Can’t say I’m too familiar with how they do it. But when you signed up they should have given you an ip looking like xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:yyyyy
The yyyyy will be your server port.

ohhh ok so I opened the properties file and its missing the port at the end of its server ip so just replace the old ip with the one from then network panel save and restart?

ok the server port matches and so does query.port however theres one called rcon.port thats off a number could that be the cause?

I wonder if bisect actually has another server running on the ip/port they gave you. I have seen it happen before. I recommend you reach out to their support and have them take a look.

well I can try a different port the network panel gave me five choices I could try changing ports first if youd think that help
