I downloaded and started playing this mod pack today (7/17/24) and I am unable to carry mobs, etc. It was an unbound key and I tried multiple different keys and none work. I have tried crouching and that doesn’t work either. Would really appreciate help, because I would love to pick up Pokémon and other mobs.

but you can pick up like sheep

and most passives
hostiles you cant pick up
ive found that some modded guys u can but not all
its very iffy

I’ve tried picking up chests and crafting tables as well as some other blocks and nothing. I even tried downloading the carry on mod, and that one didn’t work either.

try deleting options.txt from ur folder to reset your settings
see if that helps
if that doesnt then probably reinstall the pack
to pick things up
it should default to shift right click

Will deleting that cause issues with the rest of the gameplay? My husband and I have already put a few hours into the game and I’d hate to restart.

deleting options.txt will reset your keybinds and settings but your world will be safe
if you are worried make a backup of your saves directory
