Hey! So Im running a server using this modpack and when I made it the newest version was 1.1.17, What I did was I switched around the cobblemon mod for the lastest version at the time as well as added my own custom pokemon besides that no other major updates were made to my memory. But now I'm seeing that 2.1.1 is out and Im thinking of update the modpack to that version but am a little concerned that it could possibly cause issues on the server? Im very new to running something like this so I figured I should ask and see what you guys thought would happen or what I should do before I go in and start making changes.
#Will updating from 1.1.17 to 2.1.1 break my server?

I would recommend to make a completely new world, as
- This is a pretty big jump in versions and might corrupt some files
- The world generation is completely different as some structures have been removed and some new ones have been added (For example the Cobblemon Ruins)
Your safest bet would be to make a new world and host it under the most recent update. Hope this helps 👍 ✨

alright! I dont super want to make a new world and make people restart everything so maybe Ill just make lil adjustments here and there. Thank you so much for the feedback tho!

No problem! If you don't want to lose certain builds you could just save them with the Schematics, copy the nbt data to the new world and remake them with a few clicks (or schematicannons)

ahh smart! I was also wondering, Is there a way to update to a new fabric version so I can use the newest version of cobblemon? I tried to just update the mod and update the fabric version but it crashed the game my guess being because some othermods didnt like the new fabric update

Yes, that's due to them being incompatible. The 2.1.1 update of the BCG+ pack should automatically have the newest fabric loader version. You just have to update the whole pack to 2.1.1 and there shouldn't be any problems
