ClientError: 429 RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED. {'error': {'code': 429, 'message': 'Resource has been exhausted (e.g. check quota).', 'status': 'RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED'}}
this is the issue
while creating an API key, it is imperative to choose an imported project - which project to choose?
Facing same issue
When you are in google ai studio and you create an API key are you creating a new project at the same time?
How long does it take for the API to run? It's been going for longer than 12 seconds.
Are you in google ai studio when you say "How long does it take for the API to run?" or are you in kaggle and adding a secret? Do you mean when you are running the agent in kaggle?
I followed the steps, but it's still running. Yes I created the google api key from my google studio
I clicked run and its still running
made sure the checkbox was clicked
I hit run in kaggle
Are you here? 2.3 Run your agent
I'm at 1.3
im there
I'd paste a pic but it won't let me do on here

ok that makes sense! it ran in the end.... took 13 mins
Ok I'll try

💬 My Conceptual & Deep Learning Questions for the Kaggle AI Agents Livestream
1️⃣ As AI agents become increasingly autonomous and goal-driven, how can we design incentive systems that keep their long-term behavior aligned with human ethics instead of just short-term reward optimization?
2️⃣ As AI agents get more goal-driven through incentive structures, how do we make sure their reward optimization doesn’t conflict with the broader ethical or social alignment we expect?
And if an agent gains the ability to modify its own mechanisms, how can we formally guarantee that these self-changes stay consistent with human-aligned objectives and don’t create unintended behaviors over time?
3️⃣ When agents start self-modifying their reasoning or learning mechanisms, what kind of formal or mathematical safeguards can ensure their updated versions remain predictable, stable, and still aligned with human objectives?
4️⃣ In multi-agent systems, how can we balance cooperation and autonomy—so that agents don’t end up competing or working against each other while still staying efficient and independent?
5️⃣ With the rise of deep reinforcement learning in multi-agent setups, how can we prevent emergent adversarial behaviors that arise from agents learning implicit competition through shared environments?
6️⃣ How can transformer-based architectures be adapted for continual learning within agent frameworks—so that agents can retain past knowledge while still adapting to new contexts without catastrophic forgetting?
✨ Thanks to the Kaggle and Google teams for hosting such an insightful course and livestream.
Really looking forward to hearing the experts’ thoughts on long-term safety, alignment, and the next wave of deep learning–driven agent architectures. 🚀

I have followed all the steps properly and I also have previous experience in running jupyter notebooks in kaggle . I even trained many LLMs with image datasets. I have never faced resource issue. But today I am facing this Resource exhausted error. Is this because of kaggle platform or anything else? If anyone did complete it please guide me
Error:>>>>>
ClientError: 429 RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED. {'error': {'code': 429, 'message': 'Resource has been exhausted (e.g. check quota).', 'status': 'RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED'}}
I too face this "Resource _Exhausted" debug after run the questions "What is the weather in London?"
Hey, Do you have any subscription or are you using free tier API key? I am not sure whether it's happening because of API key or kaggle platform itself. If anyone used premium version api key please let me know
I am using free-tier API KEY
@Mahendar Byra @humble monolith @lost kettle I am also facing this issue
mine is solved
so apparently terminal code is not working but if u go on and access the ui part
it works
how did you resolve it
deleted all api keys i had ade
made *
just dont stick with 2.3
try factory resetting your kaggle sheet and then step by step do it again
if the 2.3 section (specifically ) is not resolved. just skip that part do the other terminal cell ie do section 3 it should work
Not an issue
Since we are running multiple code and agents the key reaches it's limit
thanks Anbuselvi
Thanks worked like a charm !
Thanks Akshat Verma, after factor reset, I executed all code one time only and all codes were executed
could someone send the link to the yt channel
the one which will go live in like 2 hrs
Thanks bro , My code is also running perfectly now
Hello all - I am in lesson 1B; I imported my GoogleAPI key as my "secret", which worked fine. All other fields run fine, but when I try to run the full multi-agent system, I get ClientError: 401 UNAUTHENTICATED. What am I doing wrong?
I don't think we are up to 1B. Aren't we in Day 1A?
we have to do both I guess
Try to use different api key
What section are you in. eg: Section 2: Your first AI Agent with ADK or Section 1: Setup or Section 3: Try the ADK Web Interface?
the mail told to do single ai agent and multiple ai agent as well
how to get started with the assignment anyone HELP!
Just follow this https://www.kaggle.com/learn-guide/5-day-agents, Today's section
While executing "Day 1b - Agent Architectures" notebook, I get the error:
ClientError: 429 RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED. {'error': {'code': 429, 'message': 'Resource has been exhausted (e.g. check quota).', 'status': 'RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED'}}
I still have the quota in Kaggle..
Bro it's about api key limit . Sometimes it's working , sometimes it's not working
Try to do factory reset and new api key
Finally day 1 is done 🥳 If any one of you is facing this error: "Resource has been exhausted (e.g. check quota)", try to change the default prompt and try again.
How does that solve? Agent should be able to handle the user research messages.
How to do factory reset?
my kaggle doesnot update and not working with internet on
there is a two arrow loop symbol. just click on it
Thank you. "Resource has been exhausted (e.g. check quota)" error now comes in other part of the code. 🙁
Even I am facing the same issue in 1b. Don't worry it's because of api key resource limit
Yeah I am facing that too.
some of the systems may be a bit slow right now, including:
Phone verification

i cant verify my phone on kaggle wtd?
same here
are u using mobile or pc?
PC
I'm getting when i run the ai agent at 2.3? what should i do?
same thing happend with me then i raise a issue nd after have an hour, I'll able to verified it. you can try it too
i am at the end where it says "Next Step .. continue on to the next notebook to learn how to architect multiagent system" ... anyone can advise how to go to this next step.. the string is not hyperlinked for me to take me to the next step... using pc
for me i got the same problem in mobile but in pc its works
check todays assignment in https://www.kaggle.com/learn-guide/5-day-agents
thank you. i was able to find the link. Cheers
Hi,
is anyone here who can explain how this course works?
i expect to see hours of tutorial on live stream, not just hour.
should we just follow the day's assignments?
Hi,
there are no hours of tutorial, but lots of contexts to read and notebooks to run.
Live streams are just for asking questions and some real-world situations.
Finished with the first assignment Day 1a - From Prompt to Action. Thank you !
oh ok then
thanks for the clarification.
my other question is, should we go over assignment day 2 today or tomorrow?
since we are on first day of the course

Hi
Hello everyone
Hello @everyone
Hi
Does anyone know how to download a score sheet and rank script in kaggle ? in Discord?
I've been working on an OS Python project called GitRecombo.
I'm trying to build an assistant for architecture brainstorming and research. It uses custom scoring (for repo health/novelty) and SBERT to dig up "hidden" GitHub repos, then feeds the best ones to an LLM to generate blueprints and ideas on how to combine them.
It's at v0.6, and still rough in some spots. I'd find it super helpful to get honest feedback, especially on the scoring approach and the LLM prompts.
If the idea sounds interesting and you want to help improve it (or even just criticize it!), you're more than welcome.
Here's the link:https://github.com/Daniele-Cangi/GitRecombo

Introduction to Feature Engineering
Why Feature Engineering Is Important
Feature engineering helps convert raw data into meaningful inputs for machine learning models. Well-designed features often improve model performance more than changing the algorithm itself.
What This Notebook Covers
This notebook is designed for beginners and explains:
- Handling missing values
- Encoding categorical variables
- Feature scaling
- Creating new features from existing data
Feedback
Feel free to share your thoughts or suggestions in the comments, and let me know if anything can be improved ☺️.

Thanks I'll learn it.
Do you really need to clean the dataset from kaggle or it's already clean?
Like competition datasets? - what are you referring to
yup competition datasets
typically competition datasets are clean
Hey everyone! 👋 I’m just starting my journey into Data Science and am looking to dive into my first few projects. how likely is it to get by with some certifications, a killer portfolio, and really good network skills? i'm coming from a bachelor's in tv production and do a lot of youtube/twitch analysis so i'm looking to specialize in entertainment and media i think
I am thinking about building an amazing AI platform—something that no one has ever imagined or dreamed of. I lead a small AI team, but we are very strong. We've learned in the real world and are becoming increasingly powerful. If anyone wants to join our team or establish a long-term partnership, you are welcome anytime. But we are committed to having the ability to make it happen(require strong English Skill).
Please don't post the same thing in multiple channels.
Hi everyone 👋
I’m Gina. I work in the telecom space and have a strong interest in data analytics and data science, especially around KPIs, customer experience, and incentive systems. I spend a lot of time building and experimenting with Python scripts and governance models.
Right now I’m focused on designing a framework for call centers that prioritizes long-term trust and customer satisfaction instead of short-term retention metrics. I’m really interested in how measurement shapes behavior — and how poorly designed KPIs can unintentionally damage trust.
I’m also autistic (recently diagnosed as an adult), which honestly fuels my systems-thinking brain. I tend to analyze patterns, structures, and incentives deeply. I use AI tools to help structure ideas and build scripts, but the thinking and design are mine.
Looking forward to connecting and learning from everyone here.
appreciate neurodivergent ppl getting into builders space now 😄
Thanks! Well I didn't know I was till 4 weeks ago. But Kaggle helps me with my projects. I spend hours upon hours digging and analyzing and building scripts and transforming data. I've build a whole synthetic telecon business with employees customers and call interactions all based off statistical data gathered by Kaggle. It had to all be based on reality not fiction.
synthetic biz?
I built a synthetic business environment composed of customer-level, employee-level, and interaction-level data. The goal is to experimentally test how KPI frameworks behave under different structural conditions (volume shifts, incentive changes, data drift, etc.). I used public Kaggle datasets to approximate real-world churn, tenure, and service mix distributions, then generated synthetic records to simulate operational dynamics. It’s essentially a KPI stress-testing lab.
Sounds cool
Got questions can I ask in dms
Sure. What's that?
I didn't get a message from ya. I don't care if you send me a DM at all. 😊
Hello everyone! I am a new graduate with Honors in Data Analytics here. I am looking for a group of people to start working with in further developing my skills. Would anyone have any pointers for where would be a good place to start? I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Recently, I've been spending time building projects and exploring ML workflows — from data preprocessing and feature engineering to training and evaluating models. I'm also interested in applying AI to practical problems, especially in areas related to environmental data and analytics.
I'm here to learn from the community, discuss ideas, participate in Kaggle competitions, and collaborate on interesting projects. Looking forward to connecting with everyone and improving together. 🚀
Heyo ! need some guidance on where I should start practising ( I think that, like many people, I have only watched and didn't actually practice the knowledge I have consumed )
If anyone can help me, that would be wonderful :)
we can work together somewhat to learn more.....
Hi guys. I’m Rushil. I’m a first-year CS (AI/ML) student at MLR Institute of Technology in India. I’m preparing for a 2+2 transfer pathway to universities abroad and am currently looking for a summer internship. I’d love to connect with anyone who has gone through the transfer process or has advice on how to strengthen my profile and what the unversities expect from students like me. I would also like to know what kinda projects should i start doing to strengthen my cv. You can connect with me in discord (My linkedin is still a work in progress ). .Looking forward to being part of this community.
Right now I'm working on a Python automation project using ChatGPT APIs and generally exploring ways to automate small workflows with Python. I'm also looking for a study partner or small group interested in improving their Python, ML fundamentals, or DSA fundamentals.
Hi everyone 👋
I am Hrirake. I enjoy building AI systems and experimenting with local LLM infrastructure, workflows, and model orchestration.
Recently I built Native Lab, a fully local AI workflow environment powered by llama.cpp. It lets you run and connect LLMs on your own machine with visual pipelines, document reasoning tools, and multi-model experimentation - all privacy-first and offline.
I’m sharing it with communities like this because feedback from builders and researchers helps refine the tool. Sometimes the right idea just needs the right people to see it.
If you find it interesting, even a little support or feedback today might help the project reach someone tomorrow who can push it further.

hey guys how to get started on kaggle? i have ML knowledge as well but kaggle seems very overwhelming, can anyone help with a mini guide or smth
its simple really, u say u have the knowledge already so just pick a getting started competition from competition section, join it, create a notebook then import the dataset into the notebook lastly run models and after preprocessing as for submissions checkout the sample_submission.csv in the data section of the competition. Try it once or twice u will get the hang of it .............still having issues check any of mine or someone elses competition notebooks to get a general idea
We have some starter competitions that will walk you through what you need to know to participate in competitions. Check out: https://www.kaggle.com/competitions/titanic
Hello I am stuck in lesson 7. I have done my last submission for lesson 7 but the exercise in lesson 7 remains unchecked. Please kindly help
hey guys! i'm a cs student with some data analysis and ml knowledge, but i think i might be a good fit in data engineering 'cause i like the idea of making data clean and tidy for other teams. do you have any suggestions on where i could start?

Hey guys, I am an ambitious/motivated highschool senior but I'm pretty new to coding and data science. I am really interested in developing solutions for basic human problems and am looking to increase my technical skillset in order to do so. So far, I've learned the basics of Python and have completed the Intro to Programming, Python, and Intro to ML courses on Kaggle. Right now, I plan to improve at data science and software through Kaggle, and would love to connect with a mentor or someone to learn alongside. Any suggestions or tips are also appreciated.
Something I’ve been noticing while working on predictive analytics projects is how different model behavior can look once real-world data starts changing. During development, the evaluation metrics may look strong, but after deployment performance can slowly drift as customer behavior, business conditions, or incoming data patterns evolve over time.
What surprised me most is that deployment challenges are not only technical. If stakeholders do not trust or understand the predictions, they often ignore the model entirely, especially with more complex “black box” systems. Because of that, I’m starting to think simpler and more interpretable models sometimes provide better long-term value since they are easier to monitor, maintain, and explain.
Curious if others here have experienced something similar after moving models beyond experimentation and into production environments.
Coming from a C#/.NET and SQL Server background, I’ve been noticing a real shift in how development work actually feels day to day. With tools like Cursor, Claude, and Gemini getting more capable, the bottleneck is less about writing code itself and more about judging whether what gets generated actually makes sense in the context of the system.
A lot of the time now is spent reviewing AI-generated code, catching subtle logic issues, or thinking about whether a query or implementation will still perform well at scale. In that sense, knowing syntax feels less important than understanding architecture, data flow, and the real business rules behind the system.
At the same time, I’m still trying to figure out what this means for newer developers entering the field. If AI can generate working code so quickly, building the intuition to evaluate that code before you’ve written enough of it yourself feels like a real challenge. I don’t think there’s a clear answer yet for how that learning curve should look.
I’m curious how others who’ve been in software development for a while are experiencing this shift. Does your value feel like it’s moving more toward architecture and system thinking, or is the change more gradual and less dramatic in practice?
