The statement is written in polarising typical DEI and SDG language which will offend and make US conservatives (Trump admin) automatically reject it while containing nothing that lets the world coordinate to reduce risks from advanced AI. Seems destined to just waste the delegates time by having liberals and conservatives fight over DEI politics. Devide an conquer is such an old trick. Will the delegates fall for it and waste their time while big tech AI corps can win another victory and avoid any meaningful regulation? I hope this draft is thrown in the trash-bin before the summit starts.
