“Very dangerous. It’s very dangerous. One day you don’t have any money in your account. It can be a very dangerous thing,” Trump said. “And the other thing that I think is maybe the most dangerous thing out there of anything, because there’s no real solution — the AI, as they call it. It is so scary.”

“I saw somebody ripping me off the other day where they had me making a speech about their product,” Trump said. “I said, ‘I’ll never endorse that product.’ You can’t even tell the difference. It looks like I’m actually endorsing it.”

I mean, if you can do it in 20 minutes, sure, go ahead! Sounds like a very effective use of time.

(I'm glad - no value in growing the already large number of folk who will act badly.)

Many AIPI polls show bipartisan concern about AI

Somebody needs to do a parody of a bunch of famous people across various cultural categories saying absolutely obscene things using AI, and just end it with a 'We can make you say anything...unless you stop us. Pause AI now.'

Yes, a lobbyist going to a politician privately and saying "we've made this video, just as an example of what could happen, we're not going to release it but you might want to regulate/ban this technology" is one thing. Making public threats as an ad, is quite another. The former is polite, the latter is not polite. Now of course I don't think that "is this polite?" should always be the operative question. But...

Okay, point being that people usually don't take action on things unless it affects them. If we don't make it affect political leaders, we'll get our point across much more effectively. Maybe an ad like that isn't a great idea, but I think the point stands that we need to help people experience a bit of the fear of AI that we do for one reason or another.

If one were to go the public ad route, it should be in the context of a silly joke, like selling thneadlebopperz. It doesn't take much imagination to substitute the arbitrary joke context for something embarrassing, so the possibility of the latter can go unsaid.
