left mouse button does not work for interaction

After this last update my left button will not change settings for me or select buttons in the game. I noticed at first on the crater climber after building the biology lab. I couldn't select to go to delta or epsilon. I have 8 power available. If I attempt to deconstruct it won't allow me to rebuild. there is a dropped items chest that I cannot pick up if I deconstruct the climber.

I also cannot select skip prologue on a new save or change any settings.

my mouse works fine outside of the game and I verified game file integrity.

I'm on steam, windows 11, msi gf75 slim 10euk gaming laptop.

Hey there! This seems to be some sort of weird rare bug with windows, can you try selecting a new windowed mode in the settings? Switch to Fullscreen for example if you're on Windowed.

Resetting that option may resolve it, also try using Alt-Enter to make the game into windowed and then you can use it again to put it back fullscreen, hopefully one of those two things will resolve it!
