#snap cargo habitat lengthwise rather than only perpendicular

first up, great game, i love it, thanks for making it.

i've been doing some outpost building and would like to make an outpost that connects back on itself in multiple spots, (like a grid so i don't have to keep running all the way to the only vertical connection if i'm in one horizontal)

so i'd like to place the cargo hab parallel to the greenhouse hab... but i can't, the cargo hab only snaps perpendicular to make it real wide, which bothers me from a space usage perspective, especially since it has space for doors on all 4 sides. If this will require me to manually place an airlock over the door first, that's fine, if slightly unintuitive

+1 to this - I ran into this like a wall. Deflated my balloon a bit when I was ready to start building my outpost proper and found you could only use one snap point on this and the three-way connector. I eventually pseudo worked it out by turning off collision so might give that a try, but it can get messy fast.

if you put the cargo hab down first and add an airlock to the end, you can snap things to it. you just end up having to work backwards from the cargo hab placement

I do agree that it should be possible without that workaround, because it's a huge pain to put it down with collision off to get it to be in the right place and then move everything away and snap them back in place

Allow us to change the snap position because i also had this same problem with the 3way connector. Would be nice to have the option to rotate which airlock has the snap fit connection

Yeah being able to change the snap point round all of the options on all connectors / habs would really be the best option.
