its failing to save a simplayer for some reason. I've seen this happen because of a few things:

1.) full drive
2.) backup software running
3.) antivirus running and flagging the folder

This looks sort of like those but slightly different. Have you ever run mods? Messed with save data?

i have not modded the game nor messed with data but i will mention recently i tried the new patch beta and ended up switching back to live game. not sure if that would mess with it but just thought it would be worth mentioning

thats extremely likely to be a cause, did it happen while in the beta?

no this issue only started last night when playing in the live version of the game

there was a big warning on the beta announcement to not go back to retail til its patched

because it'll mess up save data

most likely a simplayer in your game had a new spell from the beta, and it doesnt exist in retail

#

so when it looks for it in the database it fails

#

you could probably switch back to the beta and be fine

went back because i didn't want to progress much and have to do it again when it went live

Your save data will carry over from beta to live once live is patched

#

So you can safely play there until Monday and lose nothing

No problem, there's a small chance you still have some corruption issues in your saves, let me know if beta doesn't fix it
