First off I want to say how impressive this whole project is. I play WoW Single Player Project and this is honestly better in some ways. However with that said I have a few suggestions to help improve the overall experience.

  1. As a diehard Steam Deck user I am very appreciative of the controller/Deck input mapping, but the UI is currently far to small to play on the Deck. I recommend a UI scale slider and some contrast options. UI element backgrounds would also help a great deal. Looking at the design aesthetics of Vanilla WoW might help identify how to make an easily ledgable interface.

  2. This may be a controversial suggestion but I think the player and sim players move way too fast. Playing older MMOs it's clear that the developers intended to make the experience as slow as possible (obviously this is because they wanted to milk subscription money) but this led to a more immersive and fulfilling experience, with tactful downtime. It also made the long term goals of improving player speed through travel powers or mounts both an addictive goal and a status symbol.

  3. Simulated PvP, one of the most compelling aspects of WoW/SWTOR/Guild Wars is their factions. This leads players to feel a sense of identity and loyalty to their character. I know this is a HUGE request but it could open up a great deal of gameplay mechanics, such as arenas, in world PvP, and Raids on rival faction towns.

Thanks again to Burgee for all the incredible work and good luck on the continued development and improvement of Erenshor!

For 2, you can adjust the movement speed slider in the server admin panel, player's choice is the ideal imo as I certainly don't want to waste my free time running to places.

For 3 I'd love to be able to gank Friend's Club members. That would be sooo satisfying
