WTB means you would sell the item to them. If you want to sell the item to them you drag the item from your inventory to the sim player and it should open up an item slot ui where you can give it to them. Currently there's no way to buy items through the WTB/WTS system but there is an in game auction house in Port Azure where you can buy items from sim players.
