Currently I hover between g2/g3 during arena rush, and while I'm happy with my offenses, my defense has always been pretty bad.
I dont have vanessa for a 33 lead, so I've been using psamathe, and I don't have triton, so I've been experimenting with zen/wedjat
What I'm wondering is is ereshion + kabilla + followup a decent ad to replace my current def - psamathe wedjat fire jin veromos?
Or should I stick with current def and maybe change some stuff out?
Would love any suggestions

im not happy bout it, but no triton so im not sure of good replacements
so was wondering if ereshion kab was a better def

i wouldn't use kab
a large portion of AO is always going to be t2
and kab is free for them
fire jin already discourages a lot of cleaves
i dunno what your box looks like, but i would try various things in place of wedjat
could be a bruiser that's annoying to cleave like parjanya or byung
could be a bruiser that adds a lot of dmg like sav
could be something that discourages some cleaves that fire jin doesn't, like maybe amduat

also how are these runed?
when you're going for high guardian ranks you do have to try to get def wins
outside of a bunch of ld5s, there's literally nothing you can run that will stop people from attacking you

psamathe despair nem, amduat despair seal, jin despair shield, veromos vio will (its on my lami ao)
maybe savannah over fire jin? no byung/parj

keep the fire jin i think he's more annoying than amduat

your stuff is all too standard and on the weak side
people attacking you know that they can beat you and there are no surprises
you need to rune your stuff either better, or different
for example you can try some things super tanky. stack multiple shield sets. put jin on a cd build. make amduat swift (if you're keeping him)
don't have to do all or even any of them, but that's the kind of thing you have to think about and do

rng is not a surprise
surprise means the units are built in a way that you wouldn't expect
you expect amduat to be despair
so a surprise would be putting amduat on swift
because currently with his despair build, i can lushen this def pretty easily
swift amduat + something tuned behind him would counter my lushen
now i'm not saying everyone is lushening your def, because honestly very few people lushen anymore
it's just an example
and yea i think a lot of people are just t2ing this. it has sort of low damage due to no def breaks, and not strong strip so you can do like leo christina pretty easily

would dmg over amduat/jin be better?
but without amduat theres no spd contesting against some cleaves
