I'd love some help improving my SR5 team. I'm using the basic setup attached from the guide, but not sure where to go from here.

Pics show notable 5 stars and lds. I have every elemental 4 star not shown, so can always work those in.

I'm thinking as a starting point to swap out Shannon, Bella, and Mav since I don't use them anywhere else currently. Also thinking maybe I should get Baelgyr in there somewhere.

Open to any and all suggestions. Thanks all!

what do you mean by improve? does the team run consistently now? does it get fails? are you trying to get it consistent or speed it up?

Other Tips

  • Remember that no one single requirement is a must-have. We're simply stacking multiple safety layers to increase the overall chance of success.
  • To troubleshoot team fails, watch your runs and see how you're dying. Most common failure point I see are monsters not tanky enough and cleansers not fast enough.
  • If your team is sort of working but you're getting a few losses here and there, it's acceptable to run some R4 first before moving on to R5.
  • Once your team is stable, slowly work on replacing some of the weaker monsters for new monsters that you end up building for PvP. For example, Verde, Mav, Shannon, Vigor, Ling Ling, Loren, and wind homu are not really ideal for raids and should be phased out as soon as you can.
    • Example: within 1 week of first creating this team, I was able to drop my average time down to 40-45 seconds by replacing Shannon with Hraesvelg, Loren with Hwa, Vigor with Xiao Lin, and Verde with Astar.
  • If you've followed our beginner progression guide from the beginning, there's really only 2 slots that you need to come up with on your own. The 16 other monsters are either ones you should already have, or ones that you'll need soon for other areas of the game. One of those 2 slots is a cleanser - Fedora or Raviti fit into your team the smoothest since they come with a def lead too. The other is a damage dealer (the slot where I used Hwaorang) - my recommendation there for the best completely farmable option is Nangrim.
  • Artifacts are not too important yet. As long as you have 2 artifacts of any kind on all a monsters, you'll be fine. SR5 team should come earlier in progression than SFAH and PCAH.

it will be a combination of replacing the placeholder units and improving builds on the units you keep in the team

Okay the above has some good options for swaps. I can do hrae for shannon, verde for astar easy. Any swaps youd rec for mav and belladeon?
