This entire game is all about reading. From monsters to skills to passives to stats. If you aren't really up for reading, you might not enjoy this game very much.

A good place to start would be seeing Jayke's messages.
Don't neglect the help you are given!
But I understand, shortcuts are always easier.
Easier, however, will cause you problems.
Good start would be checking through the messages already here.
I personally think the advice here is quite good.
