I am a new player since about a week or so. I play when time on mobile and follow the ?beginner guide en ?sr5. I have read the Help and Advice with SR5 in the title. But have questions left. It may be that I have misread or misunderstood the guidance provided in the the picture guide and the ?sr5 additional information.

I am prepping my monster list and setup... so not all monsters are max leveled or fully Awakend yet. II know

My question is whether the setup like this and the chosen two monsters is as intended from the guide.. I took Lala (fire) as a cleanser and Nina (wind) as damage dealer.

Are the positions and leader skills correct and would you have any recommendations to give? I will follow the stat guidance to Rune and Grind, Artifact them to recommended numbers.

thank for your time.

switch wind nina with ardella

#

make wind nina the lead for team 1, veromos the lead for team 2, and loren the lead for team 3

#

leads that only benefit 1 element are generally not helpful as you are running 18 monsters spanning 5 different elements

#

therefore such leads will not help monsters from other elements at all

#

the rest depends on runing your monsters properly

fedora and raviti are recommended over lala since they have use cases outside of sr5, so you can reuse the same monsters with the same build in multiple areas

excellent.. felt like i should make a table or something to see where monsters are recommended and used for the ones not farmable.
Tx again for fast response.

does it make sense to grind level 3 (which I can defeat) a bit for early grind stones to improve my GBAH team?

no, should never be farming grinds below level 5, when you build an sr5 team

#

if you want to improve your gbah team cause its slower than expected, farm better runes

#

dont waste energy grinding horrible runes

#

the difference in average quality of grinds farmable in sr3 and sr5 is huge

i know in general planning ahead is good, but it doesn't really work out here

#

as a beginner you summon tons of scrolls and get tons of new monsters every day

#

by the time you are ready to do sr5 it's very likely you have other options for cleansers and such

#

a lot of effort was put into the guides to do this planning out for you so that you will never waste any effort building bad or temporary monsters so you don't have to do this future planning for yourself

thanks, its appreciated. Game is deep enough, think i'd be very lost and would possibly have quit the game without the guide.

Am still baffled a bit on how long to farm GBAH with team 2 for example to get "Better" Runes.. seems so random hoping for a specific rune to make a small improvement. While I have no grinds to actually improve the better runes with e.g. Crit% main, CD, SPDx2, HP% etc.
Hoped that with some early rift farming i'd get some usable grinds to make a difference on the teams from the guide.

the farming needed to do S ranked rifts, get homunculus, and make the galleon homunuculus gbah team is very minimal

#

most of your runes should come from the free ones from beginner event

ok thanks.. Rifts S ranked
