Hello, all! I know I had an old thread about this speed team, but I could not find it. So, I made a new one here! I am currently trying to add more damage to my Kyle DBAH team to make the times match the command, but I have a question:

Look at this SWOP configuration for my Kyle. The current rune config has less damage than the bottom rune config, but has a fight set. However, the bottom set has more damage than the top set, without the fight set. Is it worth dropping that fight set for more damage?

I'm just not sure how to weigh it, considering fight runes apply to everybody, including Twins and Verde

You can always try swapping runes and compare the times ^^

My guess is that it's too hard of a question but maybe some other advisor could help you out. Would probably help if you showed the builds for the rest of your monsters

When sharing monster stats, take a screenshot from the monster storage building rather than the monster menu. This lets you show stats, rune sets, and skillups all in 1 image.

A fight set gives him 60ish atk, the new set gives him about 200'more

Lets take this for example

wind magnet
#

this is my runes, for example

#

this would be better overall, since thats around a 24% damage increase

rotund tundra
#

Would also require him to calculate with the atk scaling on skills

teal heron
#

generally it's much better to rune individual dd sets if theyre going to deal damage rather than using fight sets outright anyway

#

so it doesnt really matter that much

Trying to force them on is never a good idea imo. Stats over Sets still (mostly) applies to speed team, particularly this one.

#

Besides Loren, who should ideally have 3 fight sets on her, the sets for your other monsters don't matter. Use whatever gives you more damage

calm cosmos
#

Between the DD's, what order of priority would you give when it comes to best DD set?

#

Im assuming Kyle gets the best DD set out of the 4, since its kind of in the name?

Watch your runs and see what happens. If you have trouble with wave clear, your aoe mons need more damage. That can be from rune improvements, arti improvements, or from putting fight sets on other mons (including Kyle potentially). If you lack damage for mid and final bosses, give Kyle more damage through runes or artis. There are too many variables here to give an easy answer

calm cosmos

is it when the crystals are able to move?

calm cosmos

Im used to speed teams having a specific procedure, like an outline of events that are supposed to happen

#

Like teshgbah

quiet vector
#

You should clean enemy waves without them moving every time

calm cosmos
#

Ok, that doesn't happen. This means my issue is with boss damage. I think its an artis issue

#

None of the crystals OR the mid boss ever move

#

here, since I have questions relating to other means, im gonna rename this thread

Steel Fortress Abyss (Hard)

  • Teams and Turn Order:

    1. Loren (L) > Fran > Ling ling > 2aRaoq > 2aKro (2:00-1:00)
  • After PVE Teams
    2. Ling ling > Lushen (L) > Loren > Fran > Brandia/2aKro (45-50 seconds)

  • Requirements:

    • Ling ling: ATT/CD/ATT, 135k EHP, 169 cmb spd, 100% CR, 35% acc
    • Fran: SPD/HP/DEF, 135k EHP, 200 cmb spd
    • Loren: SPD/HP/DEF, 135k EHP, 205 cmb spd, 45% acc
    • 2aRaoq: ATT/CD/ATT, 100k EHP, 169 cmb spd, 100% CR, 35% acc
    • 2aKro/Brandia: ATT/CD/ATT, 100k EHP, 100% CR, 169 cmb spd
    • Lushen: ATT/CD/ATT, 239 cmb spd, 100% CR, Must 1 shot waves without attack buff
  • Other Info:

    • Monsters with same cmb spd requirements, see turn order above
    • Artifacts used depends on what the monster needs, EHP (hp/def) or DMG (att)
    • Lushen is yr fast PVP Lushen build (2nd lushen built)

For Ling Ling build, when it says ATT/CD/ATT, do I still need 135k ehp with that variant? I've been using the 135k ehp variant with spd cr hp from the older version of the guide, so idk how you'd wager between the two

quiet vector
#

If you lose ling ling you fail

#

You need buff block

#

So extra ehp on ling ling is a safety net for the whole team

#

Get her enough bulk, speed, and acc, then can add damage or go double/triple will or whatever else

quiet vector
#

You should be able to tell from turn order she needs to be faster than your 239 lushen btw

calm cosmos
#

yes

#

oh wow, wait-

#

I think the old guide said to have her on 286 speed or something OMEGALUL

#

I had her on a spd cr hp swift focus set this entire time, with 292 cmb spd

calm cosmos
#

oops sry for ping

#

its so weird tryna optimize this, because I use the same monsters for sfah, but I alr get 0:50-0:59 time avg. To add more confusion furthermore, my turn order is different: Ling Ling > Loren > Fran > 2aRaoq > Kro

cerulean jay
#

the ideal turn order is to have ling ling move first

calm cosmos
#

ah, so I should keep it that way

cerulean jay
#

yes

#

the reason ling ling is mentioned as moving 3rd or having a slower spd req

#

is when you are super new

#

it's too hard to get her that fast

calm cosmos
#

oooh

cerulean jay
#

making her go fast only speeds up run, it doesn't make it safer

#

right? because as soon as you touch the boss he gets buffs

#

so you want the first attack that touches the boss be the one that blocks beneficial effects

#

otherwise everything before lingling is wasted

calm cosmos

sorry last part supposed to say doesn't make it more consistent
