Ah yeah good point

stable briar
#

so for something like this - my initial gut instict would be to sell as it doesn't have any speed and it feels like i definitely need speed on all my runes

but hp% and cr are both premium stats. kinda lost as to how to navigate a rune like this

dry falcon
#

a lot of pve damage dealers dont need to be so fast, you dont need speed on every rune

#

should roll this, multiple rolls on CR is very useful

stable briar
#

iv been trying to follow the guides - maybe i just have really horrible speed sublines? but i always feel so strapped for speed

dry falcon
#

if it somehow has very efficient rolls on attack only, could still be kept for nukers that dont want speed, like pvp lushen

stable briar
#

ah i see

#

im also struggling just a bit with rune sets

#

i know at the end of the day they're just stats

#

but im sure there are more 'popular' rune sets

#

like im heavily leaning and relying on blade for CR

#

so for me to invest in something like fatal that i dont see much use feels like a waste

dry falcon
#

if you worry that you might not hit CR req, can always go triple blade, thats 36% CR for free

stable briar
#

🤔 maybe im just in a weird phase?

dry falcon
#

if you decide to go fatal blade, then you will need slightly more CR rolls, so it depends on your rune inventory and what you have

stable briar
#

the guides only ever really cover speed/cr/hp requirements

#

does fatal see much use?

dry falcon
#

any damage dealer in pve + nuker in pvp could use fatal

stable briar
#

hmmm

#

whats the decision a player makes to choose between atk and cd?

dry falcon
#

usually a 1:1 ratio

stable briar
#

like when would you choose fatal over the cd rune set

dry falcon
#

but you dont need to be very specific about it

#

if you get a fatal set, should try to get more cd rolls than attack, since fatal itself gives 35% atk

#

and for rage set, its vice versa

stable briar
#

ahhh thats so smart

dry falcon
#

the optimal result is a 1% atk to 1% cd

stable briar
#

ok thats really nice to know

#

do some ppl sell off atk% line fatal runes?

#

is doubling up frowned upon?

dry falcon
#

depends, should always compare with your other runes with multiple rolls into attack

#

keep the efficient ones (ones with very high attack rolls consistently)

stable briar
#

yeah feels like efficiency is always sought after

dry falcon
#

correct

#

there's usually a use case for many different combination of substats

stable briar
#

thats fair

#

i think im still in a mindset where im trying to hold onto a formula

#

or something to either keep or sell a rune
