Help please, I've been using the Guide suggested teams but the Fire Lich keeps taking extra turns and nuking Mav

I've runed them best I can, though I may need to double check Mav's durability, but the main issue is the Fire Lich's passive. Each time I take a turn, he has a chance to immediately follow up, buff himself, and attack.

Gonna go test with the upgraded defense, it's not as high as the recommended, but substantially higher for both, and if it fails, I'll just have to grind gems

Okay, Mav still died, but he hung out long enough for the fire one to die, which meant juggling the other two was businesses as usual

your fran/mav has to be 1500 def for rifts and veromos 1500 def for raids eventually

so it doesn't really matter. you have to improve them by giving them better runes
