I'm a returning player (used to play when tricarus was a thing) and I used to be done with PVE and did start a little bit of PVP, but never really got into it much. Now after coming back I can still do MOST of PVE content (excluding some like DBAH and some that I haven't even tried like NBAH), but I can do like all the raids on SSS, GBAH, TOA200 etc.
So my question is, would it be smart to basically just remove all the runes from my current monsters and go through beginners guide and just re-rune and lvl up everything according to that or just adjust the teams that I would need to (for example creating a team for DBAH). My current teams also aren't the most efficent (solo R5 takes me about 50s on avg), GBAH is about 1min 10s.

no would keep runes on them as is if you already got teams for them going. 50s sr5 isnt actually that bad (avg fastest is like 35 for comparison). you can go through #guides and check quickly for each section to make sure your monsters are meeting required stats for each step
The thing is many of my teams arent the teams on beginners guide, so its kinda hard to compare, many of them are just teams that I had made based off of reddit back when I played
I did adjust some according to beginners guide like the my GBAH team (i made the galleon, verde, whomie, spectra, kro)
But many of them are just old teams and idk if it would just make my life easier if i re-did all of them based on beginners guide
ohh i see. you should still habe your core mons like veromos, fran, loren, raoq, kro, etc which all should be still runed correctly (if not can fix them)
Yeah yeah I do have those
sfah for example meta is still lingling
but yeah like i said you can def touch each step and then build those teams
if they don't mention the units youre using (except if theyre used in sr5) you can safely derune them
Alright, thanks 🫡
tricaru isnt also viable anymore since abyss difficulties makes it so u cant use more than 1 mon, and theyre immune to dots so dot teams are bad too
you dont need to derune every monster though like if you still use them to clear toah then thats fine
but if you do struggle with content at some point you can switch to the teams the guide suggests
