i'm a new player, i have been following the guide as well as i could, but i just can't seem to beat this floor no matter who i focus on, my heroes should be able to clear toah, but i can't tell if i'm building them wrong, using the wrong team, or if a specific strategy is required for this level

vero fran mav is yr core + loren and spectra
your monsters seem to be a little slow (unless yr spd skill is maxed, remember mav should be 180 combat spd and everyone else faster than that
from there its just cc'ing monsters and preventing the monsters who arent cc'ed from moving (be it either from stun or provoke)
then just widdle away at the monsters

floor 99 caps my speed tho
leo makes all our monsters the same speed
(that's why i tried the tanky route)
i'll try tho
also my speed skill is maxed for level 30-40 so it gives +8%

spd cap from leo has nothing to do with your monsters being runed subparly at this stage in the game for toah

allright, i messed with my runes all i can and tried it a few more times, still no visible progress, i just can't keep them cced. once leo attacks vero. the order gets messed up regardeless, and speed is still capped at leo so i can't have several turns at once while the opponent is cced. penguin is at 181+ the buff from skill at 11.5%, everyone on the team is faster than penguin and his ehp is higher than 120k . should i just keep trying till i get it? or just wait till i level up my attack/def/ hp skills? (currently at level 40)

i do like the mav, though he is not 45% acc
few more pointers i can give you is this
preventing leo from using s2, which means he needs to be stuned or provoked
preventing verde's from moving at all, as being provoked still gives the team atb
preventing spectra using skills, this can be done by him being stunned or provoked
