Hello, before I ask questions the following is the information I would like to share

  1. I've been right now alternatively farming gb12 and db12 for better runes
  2. My 2a Monsters are almost done except Kahli which I'll be doing next after the water fairy. Unfortunately don't have Eshir
  3. I am not doing lumel as I still need to awaken the recommended monsters.

Questions now

  1. On an average, does it take too long to be PVP and Siege ready?

  2. I've made the beginners PVP team and I'm easily able to outspeed the speed leads, problem is my lushen sucks but alternatively I'm using Tianna, Galleon, Kaki and Lushen (the win rates are much better than beginners team), I'm currently doing arena just to farm glory points. Is this the right approach?

  3. I'm bit overwhelmed by the amount of Monsters needed to be built for Siege. How do I tackle this?

  4. More questions will follow

I'm genuinely interested in making my account better so any tips additionally if you want to give are much appreciated

#

Btw, I've been reading the Beginners PVP guide and been basing my decisions based on that

  1. I don't know what this question really means. This game is all about grinding and when you have just finished PvE you can't really immediately start doing siege. You can go farm in a c3~ guild but that is about it. It's going to take you awhile to actually farm runes and grinds
#

So it is going to take time. It's not something that is instantly done and you should expect things in this game to take time. It's a long game and you will always have things to so

#
  1. You need runes for PvP. Set a one monster defense and farm.
#

Lushen should not be used with Tiana galleon

#
  1. There's nothing to be done except taking it one step at a time. You are never, ever done building monsters in this game. I think I have 200 monsters 6*'d. That is a low amount for someone trying to push in siege.
#

My advice to you is to set reasonable achievable goals

#

I don't really ever 6* more than 4 monsters in one week. But I always 6* at least one so I continue to have the exp boost available

#

Farm dungeons roughly evenly. Even though a lot of people talk about how necro doesn't have the most useful rune sets, you need these rune sets, especially when starting because literally all of your dhole energy is needed to 2a monsters

#

My last advice to you is to try to farm PC10 as much as possible. This is weird advice but I am going to explain myself before other people go "wtf"

#

Nobody wants to farm PC10 that is a beginner. Even more advanced players don't want to. I hate it and so do many others because it takes way too much thought

#

But forcing yourself to farm some PC10 makes it become a bit more familiar and less daunting

#

This dungeon you need to really think in. And it's fine if you farm slow while learning. Look at the artifacts that drop. Think about which is an upgrade and roll them.

#

Steel fortress is extremely important to farm also, but you don't have to think as hard to make meaningful progress

#

You can really just roll +/- elements and you will still make huge progress

#

You do want to roll more than just this, but these alone are huge

#

The last thing is once you have your bearings, you want to always be farming more raid than anything else
Again some people may not agree with me on this and it isn't a great idea to grind really bad runes. This is especially true when it comes to violent

#

But you need to farm R5. It is plain and simple. If you don't, you will not make progress

#

There are a few problems with farming R5 early and this is another part of ?stayingiants

#

You simply will not have enough mana

#

@clever quarry I completely agree with you on artifacts. I was farming necro so much to improve my Bale and one fine day I just looked at my artifacts inventory and powered up a few of those and voila I had my Bale ready

Thanks for all the beautiful advices.

I will be patient and continue the grind.

Plain and simple. Many players that are older forget how hard mana gets pressed on newer accounts. R5 destroys your mana. It really does. But you can work on this by limiting yourself to rolling non-stop set runes with only purples

#

For violent/will/destroy/etc. You do not sell blue grinds.

#

Alternatively you can choose to only keep blue violent and sell all other blues

#

This is actually a pretty good strategy

#

The reason being

#

You want to farm R5 until you have violent grinds typically

#

And stopping at blue grinds is not the best

#

That being said

#

I would build a surplus of blue top set before I start doing that

#

For non top set I auto sell blue 1/3/5. It is simply too taxing on mana otherwise

#

You can get good runes from the ones you sell but honestly it's not worthwhile

#

Because non top set should always be better than top set and you are going to end up with significantly more 1/3/5 non top sets

#

For blue 1/3/5 I try to only accept specific things

#

Sec

#

Let me get this rune

#

So if you are comparing this to my best CR I am seriously lacking

#

So if a blue drops with 6 CR, innate hp% and SPD I'm gonna roll it for crate

#

Even though hp cannot be grinded

#

It is still a very good potential rune if it rolls desirably

#

Then on +9 it goes def%

#

So now no matter what I can get in one stat I want on this blue

#

Comparing it to what you have is important

#

And if it did not roll def% on +9

#

I would see if it did on +12. If not I would probably sell it if it was like flat def and res

#

With violent the runes that come out of the box good are a lot nicer too

#

Really a lot of the time if a rune is a decent blue I will just leave it and not gem. Save vio gems for better runes.

#

This is a lot but hopefully it gives insight
