So i started playing 3 or 4 days ago, and ive trying to understand the game and what iam supposed to do
The thing is, from what i can see, the game has a very clear progression path, at least at the beginning
My question is, if that path carries on, or theres some point where we have some liberty to make different, but still strong teams

Cuz iam starting to feel like iam just following a massive tutorial, and iam not really playing that much ahaha
And to make that worse, since things are so linear, iam always going to be behind older players

Thank you for your time!

The fun part starts at PvP or when you try to come up with teams yourself...
The progression adviced is just the most optimal, that has been found, hence it seems so linear

Also, playing in a guild and doing stuff with guildies/friends together

this is a pvp focused game. new content and monsters are designed around pvp

#

only the pve part is linear. it can be completed in under a month if you have the time to spend on it

#

once you're done with pve... you'll find that this is one of the most open ended games out there with no 2 players/accounts alike at all

#

part of this is due to the huge numbers of monsters and rarity of them in this game, where different people have different boxes

#

and also just the amount of different content there is. that's why you'll see that we often ask people if they are more interested in RTA or siege, because it's hard to do well or be interested in everything

#

yes you'll always be behind older players but i really don't understand why this is a seemingly big deal for people

#

people don't start playing any game with the goal of being the best player in the world for that game

#

progressing and improving is what's fun and there is no end to that
