#Full Runes - Help Managing

What's up everyone, so I"ve finally filled my Rune Inventory while following the below, unsure about the resistance rule but I've been using it

  • Save all Legendary unless non speed flat stat in 2/4/6
  • Must be 6*
  • Must be Hero+
  • No Flat main Stat on 2/4/6
  • No Resistance in the sub slot unless Legendary - I do this because I feel like RES is a PVP stat and I'm still building my PvE teams
  • No Resistance in main stat unless it is Legendary (I have 2 Leg and 2 Hero with Res as main)
  • Somewhere halfway through last month I started rolling meh runes with 6 speed in sub to see if I get high rolls but haven't gotten any yet so I sell those too

With that in mind are there any obvious rune and stat combos I should sell or combination of sub stats I should avoid?

I'm going to have to sit down and roll these and I don't want to burn through mana on bad runes or waste tons of time on them (I have 125 mil mana \saved right now) and now I'm farming artifact dungeons until I can clear rune space (295 / 500 artifacts right now)

I have a lot of mons in my world boss team with no runes too, should I just throw what I can on them until I want to build them for real?

best to just abandon all of that and start over (in terms of your mindset for how you're evaluating runes)

What runes to keep or sell?

Now is the time to touch on this topic... unfortunately it's not going to be a straightforward answer. This question is essentially the strategy behind the entire game, so trying to answer it or write a guide about it would be akin to writing a guide for all of Summoners War. It's not something you learn once like riding a bike, it's more like getting better at a sport or instrument where you'll slowly gain more and more experience. Everyone, beginner or guardian, is constantly learning and changing their own standards.

The fastest way to get better at this is to look at the runes other people are using, whether it's visiting someone island or swarfarm, or checking out a youtube video for siege or a PvE dungeon. Look at a lot them to get a sense of what types of runes are actually being used. And ask questions - if you are unsure of a rune, post specific examples and ask about it on this discord. I'll continue to show examples of the runes I'm using on my monsters in this playthrough here.

Try not to stress too much about it. Cleaning and rolling your runes takes time for everyone, but it's part of the game. Resist the urge to take shortcuts or apply blanket rules like "sell all runes that are X" or "sell all runes under X% efficiency". Doing so only results in you throwing away usable runes and slowing down your progression.

Damn thanks I’ll look at it again and change my standards I just filled my inventory so I guess I’ll roll and sell then farm again with new standards

Guess I’ll look at ?progression and see where I feel I should work on improving (excluding tricaru, working in runes for verdehile in event and farming for fight runes already so will watch for good tricaru runes) , then work from there. I am at BJ5 technically but PC10 is unreliable

Water for rift beasts
85%+ CR
~140 cmb spd
Some bulk to not die by AOE attack. Rest in damage. There is no such thing as to much damage.
If using Talia lead, you can have 76 cr.

Fire for ToAh(Labyrinth) & Rift Beasts
ToA, faster than Mav
20% acc (shaina's passive adds 25% accuracy so that totals 45%)
~70% CR or higher
~20-25k HP

Shaina on a rift/toah build wants near 100% CR on a faster than Mav atk/spd, cd, atk build. avoiding HP because damage > HP in Rift beasts

ToAh twins want vio but swift is good enough.
