#Cutting towns - make it 24 hours instead of current 12 hours

When you cut towns, it makes sense for those towns to stay cut until 24 hours, where they surrender.

Right now it's 12 hours. Or is it 6 hours? Not the point - but right now, if you cut towns, players in other TZ won't have an opportunity to uncut the cut. Because the white flags don't last for 24 hours.

This needs to change, so that ALL TZs have an opportunity to uncut the cut, giving them a fair chance to at least try and attack more. Otherwise, the "turtling" mode will always happen, and this is where attacking becomes less frequent in high pops. We don't want that, do we?

So yeah, do change from 12 or 6 hours to 24 hours for white flags.

Nah, 12 is fine; it is just under 3 game days (12 real hours)

12 is not really enough lol, how can players from TZ not save the cut when it isn't given to them as an opportunity?

because that is exactly what is happening - big cut, other side loses motivation to play, and 12 hrs - that's even more brutal

Would cut down on the mindset of “defend until the cutoff towns are off the map” and maybe give hc a chance to counter with garrison moves to the cutoff sector

I’d say make it that they don’t surrender at all, they just lose resupply. Some towns we never fight in, because of cuts. Let’s go blow some stuff up.

I'll discuss this with the team. I can see the value in this and it's not difficult to introduce a change like this.

Make them not surrender, just unsupplied.

We won't be having them sit there in an unsurrender / stay there for ever state. This was introduced for a reason.

They would leave the pocket intact; and all the flags in it would be out of game for rest of map

Auto surrender was one of the best features ever implemented in game, imo
