It’s so that players can’t copy the hosts settings and use them in the player’s own lobby.
But, because people can just join with the mod or with the wrong mod and copy the settings anyway. It defeats the purpose of hiding the hosts settings

Idk why it’s so bad that your settings someone are copied, and when a modded client join to the host, it automatically changes preset to 5, so your settings in preset 1,2,3,4 won’t be lost
