Changeable range (think of Bomber radius setting options - maybe even lower end Nuker radius setting options) so it's no longer global (bit more balanced than being able to kill your protected target from the complete 100% opposite side of the map)
If your protected target is attacked outside of your radius, you both die
If your protected target is attacked inside of your radius, it would still act the same (You jump to them and kill the killer)
If you are attacked after you've protected someone, you get a guardian angel shield (Option to see if shield has been triggered: Instant/delay/meeting/off) however the target you protected would no longer be protected. - Recruitments bypasses guardian angel shield (But would still remove your protected target)
Rascal add-on reverses the above 2 suggested (Except Recruitment, that still works the same) - Protected target gets the shield, and killer dies if attacking you (bit like cursed wolf or Jinx)
This will also mean you can only protect one person at a time.
Don't have to do all of these as an "agree/disagree" but thought I'd jot down a few ideas (which works intertwined with each other) which could make it more interesting as fully stand out from other roles as the closest "duplicate/clone" that this could even slightly be considered as currently (before these changes) would be bodyguard (imo)
