so Canva has a bunch of "template photos" where it is just a generic background that if creating templates can be used to save the space on your graphics.
Is there any on Express?? am I just missing it or has that feature not been added yet?

Do you mean a non-descript placeholder?
I don't think there is in Adobe Express, but you could make one yourself, as in the one we usually use in say - Photoshop
That said, you can either take any photo from adobe express's own assets and lock its position so any other user would only be able to replace by their own. Or create one similar to the screenshot I just shared and "save" it in either a library or brand so you can reuse it whenever needed.

There are placeholders for specific things like avatars etc, such as these ones, but not for photos

ooooh thank you!! that is smart making your own to save into it. I just needed the girl I do them for to know which pictures to replace and which to keep so was hoping for that generic one!!
