#Why are PNG files from Adobe Stock not coming over with transparent background?

I was wondering today as I have used a stock image in Express that is available as PNG with transparent background on Adobe Stock. The image however was transferred with an added white background which I had to remove again.

I'd think it would be more efficient for most users if those files that have already had their background removed to directly end up as PGN with transpareny on their designs in Express. Is there is reason why this is done the way it is right now?

Hmm ... I would agree with you that this should not work that way, but confirmed it does. I'll have to open a ticket, but I don't know when it would be resolved just yet.

A short term work around is to open the erase tool, use the quick select brush, and just click in all the white areas that are supposed to be transparent. That should hopefully get you where you need in the immediate term. If it doesn't, it would be great to see a video of them problem so that I can guide further. Sorry about the extra overhead there!

okay, good to know - yea, remove background is good too - I only suggest erase because you might lose subject matter you want with remove background.

regardless, you are correct, it should not operate this way
