if you just want the unlock all and don't wanna fw the map editor/other HM mods:
1. use the program to install Heated Metal to your shadow legacy folder
2. launch Heated Metal using either RainbowSix**.bat** or RainbowSix**.exe**
3. Go make sure you click **balanced **mode when it prompts you to choose Normal or Balanced.
4. Go to the Operators screen and pick out all your cosmetics.
5. close the game (if you launched with .bat you want to go back into the .bat window and press any button to kill your game) and go back into the Manager to switch versions to vanilla, then you should still have all of your equipped cosmetics when you load into Shadow Legacy.

but if you want to play vanilla shadow then use balanced mode to change your cosmetics and then switch to vanilla using the manager
