I have a server in version 1.20 paper, build #16 (also tried with build #17) and wanter to creare an NPC.
Using the create command actually creates an NPC with no name. If I then try to edt said npc, nothing happens and i get this error in the console.
Also if i try to use the reload command the NPC just disappears.

Additional note: The server is brand new and the only installed plugins are FancyNPCs and FancyHolograms

I think 1.20 module of FancyNpcs is partially broken. Is there any reason you're using such an old server version? You should update to at least 1.20.6, which is last release available for 1.20.X series.

Thank you for help. I was planning to use Lib's Disguise that only support 1.20 but out of negligence I just used an older jar I had aroud. I'll try using the 1.20.6 and see if it gets any better

You should generally stick latest release of Minecraft. Your report is valid but I don't think there is much interest in fixing given it's minority of servers that are left on 1.20.
I think there are "Morph" plugins which, I think, may serve the same or similar purpose as Lib's Disguise would. (There's even FancyMorphs but I don't think it's still maintained)

Totally get it. Anyway using 1.20.6 worked so, problem solved iguess haha.
about FancyMorphs, is it avaible somewhere, I tried searcing for it but found nothing. I would be curious to give it a try!

It is published on GitHub but by the looks of it, it has not been updated in a while. You can try https://github.com/iiAhmedYT/ModernDisguise instead.
