#Trying to get access to openrouter video apis
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
I'm an AI assistant - my answers may be incorrect and I cannot see screenshots. Please verify information with the OpenRouter docs.
Currently, access to experimental video generation APIs (such as OpenAI Sora 2 Pro and Google Veo 3.1) is handled through a request form, as described:
“Video generation API is currently in alpha. If you’re interested in trying it, please reach out to us here: [https://openrouter.notion.site/3282fd57c4dc80aba183f5024e233e74?pvs=105](https://openrouter.notion.site/3282fd57c4dc80aba183f5024e233e74?pvs=105)”
— Sora 2 Pro (experimental) and Veo 3.1 (experimental)
If you have already submitted a request and have not received a response after 24 hours, there may be a delay in processing due to high demand or manual review. I don't have the ability to check the status of individual requests.
For follow-up:
- If this is an account or billing issue, please email [email protected].
- For technical/API questions, if your account has spent at least $10, you can also email [email protected]. Otherwise, please wait for a response via the original request form or ask a Discord mod for escalation.
You can review more about video API capabilities and requirements in the OpenRouter Video Inputs Guide.

I don't have access to check the status of individual video API requests or email submissions. If you have an account or billing issue, email [email protected]. For technical or API access questions, only users with $10+ in spending are eligible for email support; otherwise, please wait for a response from the video API request form or ask a Discord mod for escalation.
For more on video API access, see the OpenRouter Video Inputs Guide.

How do I ask a discord mod for escalation?
To ask a Discord mod for escalation, post your issue in the relevant OpenRouter Discord channel and tag a moderator by using @mod or the specific moderator's username. Briefly describe your situation, mention that you have not received a response to your video API access request, and include any relevant details (such as the email you used for the request).
For more on contacting support and escalation, see the OpenRouter FAQ and Support page.

<@&1384697330254610442>
To tag a moderator in Discord, you can use the role mention if it exists, or tag specific moderators by their username. If <@&1384697330254610442> is the moderator role in your server, typing that in your message will notify all mods with that role.
Example:
Hi <@&1384697330254610442>, I submitted a request for video API access over 24 hours ago but haven’t received a response. My request email was [your email]. Can you please help escalate this?
Make sure you post this message in the appropriate support or help channel.
If you need more details about escalation or contacting support, see the OpenRouter FAQ.
