Hello OpenRouter Support Team,
I’m getting 403 errors from OpenRouter with messages like:
"Author openai is banned"
"Author anthropic is banned"
"Author google is banned"
Example response:
{"error":{"message":"Author openai is banned","code":403,"metadata":{"provider_name":null}},"user_id":"YOUR_USER_ID"}
I am not specifying any provider restrictions in my request body.
I also tested multiple authors/models, and they all fail similarly, so this seems like an account-level or API-key-level restriction rather than a model routing issue.
Could you please check whether my account or API key has been flagged, restricted, or banned from model authors, and let me know how I can restore access?
