#Open router total_cost relationship with USD

Could someone clarify the relationship between the total_cost attribute in generation responses and USD? For example, if I see a total_cost of 1.0, does this directly correspond to $1.00 USD? I couldn't find this explicitly documented in the API reference it's mainly found in the get a generation endpoint.

Yes, except in the case of using third party api keys, it isn't

It seems they only reflect the cost attributed to openrouter in total_cost
