#DeepSeek-R1

likely means your privacy settings are set to prevent you from accessing providers that train on your data, and R1 only has one provider (deepseek). you will need to go yo the page shown and change your settings to access R1 from the deepseek provider
this setting need to be enable?
enabled it, but now got error :
(DeepSeek) Provider returned error: [object Object]
Do you still have the error?
yes
DeepSeek is under heavy load. Could that be the issue? Maybe ratelimits
Other users have reported the same issue
Any guidance on this?
Wait for OpenRouter to add support for R1's weird requirements or make sure your messages follow the weird requirements
Where can I find the "wierd requirements"?
#general message
I am not getting any response from deepseek r1 either from the chat-UI or via API calls? I tried API examples from docs: https://openrouter.ai/deepseek/deepseek-r1/api
Open-router doesn't pass thinking tokens to the frontend currently. It looks like it's stalled but the model is thinking. Wait for it to be done for the full and proper response
It's been running for about 30 mins, same thing with the API call
Does it work on the official DeepSeek chat website?
Its free to sign up and use
The chat on deepseek works for the same question I asked on openrouter chat
There are some other kinks the OR team is working out. My suggestion is to wait a few days and try again
DeepSeek r1 also appears to be under heavy load and not working for other people
