#Rate limiting but still getting billed

Hi, I just started using openrouter, for my use case i need to do a sequence of requests to the API but nothing crazy, less than 1 req/second.
I started getting the error 429, rate limited, and that's ok if I exceded my allocated limit, the problem is that every time i send a request, in the usage page i can still see the request got thru and that i was billed accordingly, even tho i didn't see the response and only get the error.
I would like to understand why I was actually rate limited and then why the billing goes thru. thanks for the help

But I'm still getting the error 429...

I tried the chat at the time I sent the message here and it told me I was rate limited for 7000 seconds

how many credits do you have? see /docs/limits for info on rate limiting

I just tried Gemma now and i'm not getting any upstream ratelimiting
