Aside for easy win categories like:
- FFA (Essentially BASH levels from Crash Bash)
- Team Deathmatch (same but in groups)
- Capture the Flag / Steal the Bacon
...I want to propose some other ideas for other game modes that could keep the game fresh.

Wump Thumpin’
Like Overwatch’s recent Catchamari event, or the classic Bounty mode from Call of Duty, in this mode your primary way of acquiring wumpa fruit is by picking up wumpa stashes dropped by the enemy characters that you knock-out.
This could be done as 4v4, 2v2v2v2, or FFA.
Ring Ding
Essentially the same as in Crash Bash.
Wumpa Fruit are suspended in the air by balloons, and you will need to jump and burst those balloons to collect wumpa.
Dragon Drop
Essentially the same as in Crash Bash.
Instead of collecting wumpa, you are collecting gems while riding atop of a customisable mount (in Crash Bash, these were different coloured dragons, however, I propose that you could use this to also include the pet-tier characters).
You must spit gems out of the mounts’ mouth at moving targets, and the zones of the arena from which you spit the gem will determine the score multiplier.
Gem Pad Domination
Some sort of CTRumble Twist on Domination from Call of Duty, where taking control of and occupying the gem pads is required for your team to be able to score any points at all.
Do you risk spreading your firepower to take over more locations in return for high points boosts, or do you focus on staunchly defending one base for a smaller points boost?
If you don’t control any gem pad zones, then you can’t score any points!
The Pits
Essentially the same as Space Bash (Crash Bash) and Hex-a-Gone (Fall Guys), also an homage to the CB2 Tiny Tiger boss fight.
As the match progresses more and more of the floor disappears, making it even harder to score wumpa fruit. Unless the goal of this mode is actually to be the last one standing, or gain the most ring outs.
