I have an update..
I deleted a workspace and was barely able to see and click the icon of the 2nd works
which means the problem is with the width of the sidebar that has the tabs
can we make it larger so all the workspaces can fit?
P.S. I choose to show the top toolbar and autohide the sidebar (if that matters)
