I enjoy experimenting with things like Google AI and checking out animations like the Oiia cat animation on https://poki.com/
To trigger the animation click the search icon in the top left and just type oiia happens automatically. (found out about it on youtube)

The problem is, when I run Google AI prompts or play the animation, everything works fine in other browsers, but Zen Browser causes major issues?:

Massive lag
My monitors flicker black
I hear a beep sound

After some research, I found out the "beep sound is likely my graphics card restarting itself" but I still don’t fully understand what’s going on.

RAM: 16GB
Storage: 4TB NVMe SSD
CPU: Intel i5-11400F
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3060

Zen Browser is the only application I know that does this, not even Garry's mod with how chaotic it can get doesn't even cause my pc to flicker.

The same does not happen in Firefox?

#

That animation seems to take an unnecessary ton of resources > creates a bunch of heat.

Is there a way to like control the resources I think its just overloading my graphics is all

The 'beep' sounds like a hard GPU driver reset

Most likely

I forgot to say

#

but I do leave like system informer open to the side

#

and it shows my gpu spiking to 100% suddenly

Can't really blame Zen for a bad animation/site, right? (I saw similar high loads in Firefox, compared to Zen)

well I'm wondering if theres a setting to restrict the resources if possible

#

I would be scared if it reaches the point of bluescreening my device

#

because I searched some random website
